Couples Maternity Session at the Gilbert Riparian Preserve

Everything about this session is just SO dreamy! From Alissa & Greg, to this statement of a gown, and the Riparian Preserve was showin' off for us. I met Alissa & Greg through a mutual friend as they are expecting their first baby at the end of February! Alissa is wearing one of the ANP Client Closet gowns and she stunningly features everything amazing about the gown! The blush beige flushes beautifully to her hair color and skin tone, she is quite literally glowing while looking like a real-life princess!!

We decided to meet for our session at the Gilbert Riparian Preserve in Gilbert, AZ. This is a super popular location amongst photographers, families, tourists, and locals. It's almost always packed on the weekends. We shot on a Saturday evening and we definitely had to finesse our way around numerous photographers and park-goers, though you wouldn't know it from the photos! This location is a favorite from my Location Guide provided to my clients during our planning session. Though it is doable to photograph at this location during the weekend, I would probably advise to shoot here on a weekday evening or a sunrise session if possible!

Alissa and Greg brought so super fun props to include in our photos... always something I love to recommend to my clients to add diversity to the images and these additions can add an editorial feel to the photographs. Can we talk about how perfect the baby's breath bouquet compliments their outfits?! Alissa and I agreed that she would bring a bouquet of her faves and she nailed it with a stunning addition of the baby's breath.

I had the privilege of chatting with these two for a few moments after we shot, only to find out we have so much in common! It is one of my favorite aspects of my career in photography, getting to know my clients and working with such awesome people.
